The Screening Process
AFPM knows the importance of securing a qualified tenant. Our homeowners¿ satisfaction is something we take very seriously and that is why we begin with a thorough screening process. For properties that are not currently leased we will advertise, show, and screen prospective tenants.
Tenant Criteria
Tenant History (2 yrs)
Employment History (2 yrs)
Nationwide Criminal Check (Misdemeanors & Felonies)
Nationwide Sexual Predator Check
Nationwide Terrorist Activity Check
Income Verification (Three times the monthly rental amount)
Credit History (Overall good, based on a national risk score)
In some cases an additional deposit can be substituted for one of the above criteria. If tenant does not meet property management profile; prior to an immediate rejection, a member of our professional staff will contact the homeowner for final decision.
Marketing
In order for your home to be rented, it must be seen. Not everyone that is looking to rent a home is a local client. AFPM goes beyond local media and advertises online at various websites and the MLS.
